Gaucin, Valle del Genal, Malaga 🇪🇸

Gaucín is the first village of the Serranía de Ronda and is located on the road that joins the Costa del Sol with the city of Ronda. It is one of the white villages of the Genal river valley. Gaucín is located under the castle of the Eagle. Its streets, of Moorish layout, adapt to the hill, where its white houses adorned with grilles and balconies are located.

Killarney National Park, Co Kerry, Ireland, Nov 2012 (Part III) 🇮🇪

Muckross Abbey in Killarney National Park was built in the 15th century and burned down by Cromwellian forces in 1652. The ruins have been excellently maintained by the OPW. Ross Castle, on the banks of Lough Leane, is accessible by walking and cycling routes within the National Park. It was one of the last Gaelic strongholds in Ireland. Muckross House and Gardens, just over 4 miles south of Killarney City, was built in 1843 and is near the eastern shore of Lake Muckross, with magnificent views.
